Create Your Own Ring Sizer

Materials you'll need:

  1. Printer and paper
  2. String, yarn, floss, or a thin paper strip
  3. Pen or marker Ruler

Instructions:

  1. Cut a piece of string, yarn, floss, or a thin strip of paper, ensuring it's at least three inches long.

  2. Wrap one end of the string around the base of the finger you want to measure.

  3. Mark the point where the string overlaps using a pen or marker.

  4. Lay the string flat and use a ruler to measure the distance in millimeters between the end of the string and your mark.

Refer to the Ring Size Conversion Chart to match the millimeter measurement to the correct ring size.

Print a Ring Sizer

Materials you'll need:

  • Printer and paper
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Print the Printable Ring Sizer & Conversion Chart. Make sure your page scaling is set to "100" and use 8.5 x 11-inch standard paper.

  2. Carefully cut out the ring sizer and the slot as directed.

  3. Wrap the paper ring sizer snugly around the base of the finger you want to measure, ensuring the numbers are visible. Insert the pointed end through the slit you created in the sizer.

  4. Check the number that lines up with the slit – this is your ring size! If your sizer falls between whole and half sizes, remember that quarter sizes are also available.
